Properties Panel

Purpose

Properties Panel is the main editing surface for scene-level and marker-level configuration.

Main controls

  • Scene properties for metadata, environment, marker behavior, and publishing handoff
  • Marker properties for camera, actions, audio, and interaction behavior
  • Template-aware editing context when working with marker templates
  • Deletion controls with parent/child safeguards and confirm flows

Typical workflow

  1. Select a scene section or marker.
  2. Edit relevant properties in the panel.
  3. Validate behavior in viewport and iterate.
  4. Delete only when safety checks pass, then confirm.

Behavior notes

  • Panel mode switches between scene, marker, and template contexts.
  • Deletion blocks when structural constraints are violated.
  • Certain operations (like marker-splat specific flows) can trigger viewer refresh requirements.
